Verkiezingen Faculteitsraad Geesteswetenschappen 2022

Wanneer zijn de verkiezingen?

Elk jaar organiseert de Kiescommissie Geesteswetenschappen verkiezingen voor het invullen van de studentenzetels van de faculteitsraad en elke twee jaar voor de medewerkerszetels. In 2022 zijn er van maandag 16 mei tot en met woensdag 18 mei verkiezingen voor de studentengeleding en tussentijdse verkiezingen voor een vacature in de personeelsgeleding (district Faculteitsbureau).

Hoe stel je jezelf verkiesbaar?

Medewerkers en studenten kunnen zich van dinsdag 8 maart t/m donderdag 14 april 2022 op twee manieren verkiesbaar stellen:

Je kan je bij één van de bestaande partijen kandidaat stellen. Neem dan vóór 31 maart a.s. contact op met de voorzitter van de huidige geleding door een mail met CV en motivatiebrief (maximaal 1 pagina) te sturen naar studentengeleding.gw@uu.nl met in de onderwerp regel ‘Sollicitatie FR 2022 – 2023’ plus de naam van de partij waarbij je wilt solliciteren. Die partij neemt dan contact met je op.
Je kan een eigen lijst opstellen en daarmee jezelf en eventueel andere geïnteresseerden kandidaatstellen.

Kiesregister

Vanaf dinsdag 8 maart t/m donderdag 14 april 2022 ligt het kiesregister ter inzage bij de secretaris van de Kiescommissie GW.

Alle medewerkers en studenten ontvangen voor het einde van de kandidaatstellingsperiode een mail met een link waarmee zij kunnen controleren of ze in het kiesregister staan ingeschreven.

Voertaal
De voertaal van de faculteitsraad geesteswetenschappen is Nederlands en dat geldt voor zowel de vergaderingen als ook voor alle notities. Anders dan bij de Universiteitsraad gebruiken wij geen Engelse vertalingen van de notities. Als je je verkiesbaar wilt stellen en als lid van de raad goed wilt functioneren, is een goede beheersing van het Nederlands een voorwaarde.

Elections Faculty Council Humanities 2022

When are the elections?

The Election Committee of the Faculty of Humanities organizes the annual elections for the student delegation of the faculty council and midterm elections for the vacancy in the staff delegation (district Faculty Office). The next election is from Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 May 2022 .

How do you stand for election?

There are two ways in which employees and students can stand for election , between

Tuesday 8 March to Thursday 14 April 2022:

You can apply for one of the existing lists. If so, please contact the chairperson of the current section before 31 March by sending an e-mail with CV and covering letter (maximum 1 page) to studentengeleding.gw@uu.nl with in the subject line ‘Application FR 2022 – 2023 plus the name of the party for which you want to apply. That party will then contact you.
You can draw up your own list and thus apply yourself and possibly others who are interested.

Electoral register

From Tuesday 8 March up to and including Thursday 14 April 2022, the electoral register will be available for inspection at the secretary of the Election Commission.

Before the end of the candidacy period, all staff and students will receive an email with a link with which they can check whether they are registered in the electoral register.

Language
In the Faculty Council of Humanities, the language of both the faculty meetings and all memos is Dutch. English summaries of memos are not provided, contrary to the policy of the University Council. This means that if you want to put yourself up for election for the Faculty Council, you have to be able to speak and read Dutch relatively well in order to fully participate.
